Gavin Chui

Gavin leads the Energy, Utilities and Mining industry and greentech industry in PwC China. He has extensive experience in providing IPO, statutory and acquisition audit services and consulting services to China’s power and mining companies.

Gavin has involved in major state-owned enterprises’ shareholding reform projects, IPOs and related projects, and understands well the regulatory environment and accounting requirements in the PRC and overseas. Gavin has accumulated extensive experience in IPO experience and financial advisory services and has strong knowledge on financial reporting under PRC GAAP, HKFRS, IFRS, USGAAP and US SOX requirements.

By working with Chinese energy, mining and oil and gas clients for the last 19 years, Gavin has gained a comprehensive understanding of the business operation and accounting practice of PRC enterprises. 

Gavin graduated from Bachelor of Art in Economics/Business, UCLA (California, USA) and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)
