Andrew is a partner in the Transactions group in our Shanghai office. He graduated from the Shanghai International Studies University and the Shanghai Finance and Economics University in 1994 and joined PwC in 1995. Andrew has spent a year in the Transactions group of our London office. Andrew has extensive experience in due diligence reviews performed on behalf of multinational companies investing in China and advisory services to state-owned enterprises. He has been involved in nearly 100 transactions over the last five years. Earlier in his career, he worked on assurance services projects for listed Chinese companies and assisted in the IPO of Chinese state-owned enterprise on Hong Kong and Shanghai stock exchanges. The deals Andrew has been involved with recently include:
- One of the largest private equity firms' acquisition of a controlling interest in the largest construction machinery manufacturer in China.
- One of the top three global auto manufacturers' proposed investment in a large state-owned auto group.
- One of the largest domestic electronics manufacturers' acquisition of the TV business of an European electronics group.
- A global forest group's proposed acquisition of the timberland assets and business of a Chinese listing company.
- Several significant bank transactions in which either private equity firms or international strategic investors were involved.
Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and also a qualified CPA for the Securities Regulatory Committee in China. |
