In China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, Cassie leads a regional tax practice of 150 tax partners and directors and close to 2,200 professional staff in 21 locations. Of this practice, the China tax practice comprises of 110 partners and directors and 1,600 professional staff.
Currently a core member of the PwC Global Tax Leadership team, Cassie helps ensure that the business interests of our Chinese clients are well served in PwC global business strategy and around the network where our Chinese clients have strategic business operations.
Cassie has 25 years of tax experience gained in the US, Hong Kong and China. She has helped PwC develop various service offerings which enjoy leading recognition in China including M&A, International Tax Structuring, and Transfer Pricing. She herself is well experienced in advising foreign investors on their international tax structuring matters where China is a significant part of the global or regional operations. Cassie was named as one of the leading tax advisors in Hong Kong and Mainland China in the International Tax Review Survey 2002.
Cassie was also recently nominated by in-house counsel and peers as one of the pre-eminent practitioners in the China Tax area, as published in the latest Guide to the World's Leading Tax Advisers in association with International Tax Review.
Cassie has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (Highest Honour). She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
