Cassie was appointed the leader of the PricewaterhouseCoopers China Tax services effective 1 July 2003 and now is the tax leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers China, Hong Kong and Singapore. She is also one of the members of PricewaterhouseCoopers global tax executive team. PricewaterhouseCoopers China tax services comprises of more than 50 full-time China tax partners and 1,200 tax professional staff in Hong Kong, Macau and 12 key cities in the Mainland, and provides a comprehensive range of inbound and outbound tax and business advisory services to PRC and foreign companies investing in China. Cassie has worked in America, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices prior to her relocation to Beijing in July 2002. With extensive experience and detailed knowledge of the tax and regulatory laws applicable to joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises in China, Cassie has been involved in many corporate restructuring projects and is experienced in providing structuring and M&A tax advice to foreign investors making initial entry as well as significant investments into China. Cassie was named as one of the leading tax advisors in Hong Kong and Mainland China in the International Tax Review Survey 2002. Cassie obtained her Bachelor of Business administration, Accounting (Highest Honour) in 1985 at University of Texas. She is also the member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
