Edward is Lead Tax Partner - North Region of PricewaterhouseCoopers China, based in Beijing. He was admitted as a Tax Partner in 1994 in PwC Hong Kong and has more than 28 years of tax consulting experience. Edward started his professional tax career in Hong Kong in 1980 and spent a short part of his career in Canada practising Canadian tax. He moved back to Hong Kong in 1992 to focus his interest on advising multinational corporations on China taxation and related regulatory matters.
He is experienced in providing high value-added tax consulting services to multinational corporations on complex PRC tax issues related to hi-tech industry, infrastructure and construction projects, real estate development, automobile and consumer goods industries.
He is a frequent speaker at tax conferences and regular contributor to taxation journals on current Chinese taxation issues.
Edward is a member of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants. He is vice president of the China Tax Society in Hong Kong as well as Council Member of Beijing Taxation Institute. |
