About Global Technology Solutions:
Global Technology Solution ("GTS") is the firm's internal IT department, providing effective technology services and solutions to deliver and meet the firm's business needs, within China and Hong Kong.
Job description and responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with project team members to deliver high quality applications;
- Create test plan in collaboration with application requirements and design process;
- Configure and troubleshoot software testing environment as needed;
- Verify the project meets the specific application requirements by design and execute manual or automated test cases and test scripts;
- Report and investigate bugs with the use of bug tracking system; and
- Write effective test report and other testing documents, and provide timely information and recommendation to project team.
Reporting structure and key relationships:
Reporting line: reports to a GTS manager
Requirements:
- Recognized university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines;
- At least three years of work experience in software testing;
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle and quality assurance process and methodology;
- Experience with automation test tools; and
- Knowledge in .Net, SQL Server, HTML, XML and Lotus Note is a definite advantage.
