Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for candidates at senior associate, manager, and senior manager levels in the Performance Improvement practice for our Beijing/Guangzhou office.
     
Our team offers advisory services for financial institutions in the areas of credit risk management and measurement, operational risk management and measurement, market risk management and measurement, asset liability management, liquidity risk management, capital issues, and advisory services associated with the implementation of the Basel II Accords in line with the local regulations across the aforementioned areas.

Skills and qualifications required: 

• Degree holder in finance, financial engineering, economics, mathematics, or actuarial background is preferable;
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience for senior associate level;
• At least 5 years relevant experience for manager level;
• Experience in risk measurement methodology and related analytical tools (pricing model, correlations calculation and simulation techniques) for senior associate and manager levels is a plus;
• Good understanding to both the business issues and risk management issues in the context of a financial institution is required for manager level and up position;
• Solid articulation, analytical and quantitative skills, and strong knowledge of pricing / mathematical models for financial products is an advantage for candidates with career focuses on risk measurement advisory services;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, VBA knowledge is a plus;
• Strong communication and writing skills;
• Team player who has leadership potential;
• Willingness to travel for short to medium durations within the Greater China region; and
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin will be highly regarded.
