Roles & Responsibilities:

Our Performance Improvement Practice aligns our business skills and industry knowledge across Consumer and Industrial Product, Financial Services and Technology, Info-Comms and Entertainment to assist clients with Finance Function Effectiveness, Technology Effectiveness, Operations and Deal Services, HR Advisory, Governance, Risk and Compliance.  Due to the rapid growth of our business, we are now recruiting a new Subject Matter Expert on Dealership Management and Operations Performance for our Consumer and Industrial Product group in automotive industry.  The overall responsibility is to review dealership management process and its performance, to analyze the information collected, to enable a more proactive management of the dealership operation.
   
The applicant will:

  • Review dealership management process and operations performance;
  • Identify issues and potential opportunities both management and operation in the dealer network;
  • Analyze dealer conditions to determine appropriate market representation strategy to propose new growth opportunities;
  • Provide advice and counsel to dealers, particularly the under-achieving dealers;
  • Assist the poor performance dealership to achieve maximum sales and profit;
  • Develop tools and programs related to dealer performance management including measurement, rewards and incentive plans;
  • Develop a dealer network, such as DMS, provide leadership to the network by providing dealers with the necessary skills;
  • Foster the development of dealership other functions such as Accounting, HR, Tax, Ethic and Compliance, and policy deployment;
  • Work closely with financial services, risk management to develop and execute joint projects;
  • Manage deliverables and project economics;
  • Communicate the solution to managements, follow up and feedback;
  • Facilitate with dealers regularly; and
  • Conduct presentation and trainings.

Skills and qualifications: 

  • 8-12 years of relevant senior management experience in the automotive dealership network;
  • Big Four accounting firm or equivalent background experience preferred;
  • Experience of running a dealer retail network is a bonus;
  • Degree qualifications in Business or related disciplines are essential, and a post graduate qualification highly regarded;
  • A history of successfully implementing change management strategies;
  • Strong relationship management capabilities, including to customers, staffs, executives, stakeholders and government entities;
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills;
  • Creative and strategic conceptual thinking approach;
  • Call for details, advanced logic analytical skills;
  • Experienced in managing MNC and domestic clients;
  • Excellent business sense and commercially aware;
  • Familiar with risk management issues;
  • Bright, team player, who work effectively under pressure;
  • Hands-on in unraveling commercial complexities and continuous improvement; and
  • Excellent speaking and writing in English and Mandarin, including the ability to write succinct, well-structured reports.
