Roles and responsibilities: Our Performance Improvement team helps clients improve the cost, effectiveness and efficiency of their operations. This solutions-based service helps clients solve a diverse set of operational issues by utilizing our deep understanding of finance, risk management / compliance, IT systems, operations and human resources. The unique resources contained within the practice have proven knowledge and provide a hands-on approach to business problems - and can be deployed rapidly to address crisis-based issues.
The associates in this team would be expected to participate in the active growth of five key practice areas:
- Financial effectiveness - working closely with the office of the CFO to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their financial processes, systems and organizations including back-office realignment;
- IT effectiveness - ensuring that IT resources and applications are aligned with overall business objectives;
- Risk and compliance - control compliance infrastructure and monitor and measure on-going compliance activities with specific focus in the banking sector on Basel II initiatives;
- Post deal services - assisting clients with operational due diligence, integration and divestiture related to M&A activity;
- Operations risk - assisting clients with improving core operations including procurement, logistics and shop floor; and
- People and change - assisting clients on better aligning human capital through organizational design, compensation structuring and balance scorecard initiatives.
These associates will be expected to participate in delivering complex solutions to a diverse client base including multi-national, state-owned and private entities.
Requirements:
We are looking for graduates from Finance and Accounting, Industrial Engineering and Systems majors who can demonstrate:
- Knowledge in financial modelling and costing an advantage;
- A consulting mindset and experience;
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities;
- Excellent teamwork and inter-personal skills;
- Self-motivated;
- Multi-national and/or cross border project experience an advantage;
- Fluency in English and Putonghua; and
- Willingness to travel.
