PricewaterhouseCoopers Assurance professionals provide audit, accounting and regulatory services.  They also offer risk management solutions, attest-related services as well as public listing service and corporate training for organisations ranging from potential start-up companies to large multi-nationals.

Job description and responsibilities: 

Be responsible for driving business development activities, develop market strategies and value propositions for existing clients and new clients.

  • Work with Partners to determine an overall account strategy and execute plans to broaden and deepen relations with the client and ultimately maximise revenue streams;
  • Assist in developing cross-functional account teams of partners and Managers for key clients;
  • Work with the client teams to determine the client targeting relationship plans and help to drive the relationship with the client which may or may not include direct client interaction;
  • Coach and guide the teams on identifying and winning new business opportunities, in particular providing support and coaching on driving the sales pipeline on nominated priority accounts;
  • Organize client events as needed;
  • Develop and facilitate annual account planning workshops;
  • Ensure target clients receive appropriate PwC publications and that the firm is well positioned in the agreed areas at the client organisation;
  • Determine key areas of service and develop value propositions and pitches for the client;
  • Conduct client satisfaction interviews; and
  • Other business development projects.

Requirements: 

  • Degree holder in business related disciplines;
  • Minimum eight years of experience in complex multi-stakeholder environments;
  • Strong background in finance industry with exposure in China, Accounting / IPO/ CPA firm experience is preferred;
  • Local Chinese preferred;
  • Strong network with Government / regulators an advantage;
  • Proven experience in business strategy development, planning and implementation;
  • Hands-on approach to ensure plan execution is realised;
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets;
  • Team player with a strong client service approach;
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin;
  • Excellent communication skills; and
  • Self-motivated and a self starter.
