Oscar Lau is one of the partners specialising in the Technology, Info-Comms and Entertainment group of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hong Kong.
Oscar has over 20 years of tax experience in advising clients on doing business in the PRC and Hong Kong. He has been with the firm for more than 20 years, spending two of those years in Australia where he was the head of the China desk in the Sydney office, and two years in Shenzhen, the PRC, where he was the head of the tax practice. Before that, he spent a couple of years working with the Hong Kong tax authorities.
Oscar is experienced in advising clients on tax re-structuring, intellectual properties migrations, resolving complex cross border tax issues between Hong Kong and China, mostly in the technology industry client sector.
Oscar is a graduate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a member of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
