Petrina joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1986, and was admitted to partnership in 1992. Before that, she worked in the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department for eight years. She started to specialize in China taxation ten years ago.
Petrina has extensive experience on providing Hong Kong and China tax and regulatory advice on corporate structuring, acquisition, pre-listing planning and tax compliance issues. She is the tax advisor to a large number of listed groups and multinational corporations, particularly in the Consumer and Industrial Products, Services, infrastructure, real estate and telecommunications industries. She also specializes in providing advice to Japanese clients on individual and corporate income tax, entry strategies, distribution solutions and transfer pricing issues.
Petrina maintains good business relationships with officials from the major China Ministries, Cooperation and Bureaux, including the State Administration of Taxation and various provincial and municipal tax bureaux. She has successfully obtained numerous taxation rulings and has assisted clients in acquiring the first Advance Transfer Pricing Agreement in Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
She is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
