The PwC Deals graduate programme for Asia Pacific

Create value with us in deals

Edge is a three-year graduate programme for Asia Pacific featuring a blend of international development opportunities, rotations in at least three Deals business units, and online regular, professional and technical learning, providing the support you need to complete professional qualifications.

When you complete the Edge programme and your professional qualification, you’ll be awarded with the PwC Advanced Certificate in Deals and have the opportunity to specialise in the business team and industry which best suits you in Deals.

All Bachelor or Master students graduated in 2020 and 2021 and those who will graduate in 2022 are welcome, regardless of what major they are in.

During this programme, you will have the opportunity to experience at least three of our Deals business units, delivering some of these services:

  • Lead advisor in M&A, 
    equity and debt transactions
  • Strategy advisory
  • Commercial and operational due diligence
  • Carve outs and post-merger integrations
  • Business valuation and analytics
  • Buy and sell-side financial due diligence
  • Infrastructure and project finance
  • Refinancing and restructuring
  • Bankruptcy and fraud  investigations
  • Disputes and arbitration advisory

Application journey

Submission of your online application and completion of the online assessment is the first step of a game changer. The application form will ask about your personal details, academic and professional background. Apply now.

As part of the application, you are required to complete a two-step online assessment within 48 hours upon receiving the invitation. The assessment includes a game-based assessment and video interview, both of which are short and easy to follow. They can be accessed via direct website log in or after downloading the relevant APPs.

In order to better prepare yourself for the assessment, we suggest you follow below tips:

  1. Read the invitation carefully, and complete the assessment under guidance within 48 hours.
  2. Ensure not to be disturbed during your completion of the tasks.
  3. Get prepared for your mobile/computer with stable internet connection before the assessment.
  4. If computer is used for access, please use Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari as your browser to take the assessment.
  5. It is important to relax yourself and be authentic!

On-campus activities

PwC will host a series of activities on campus, bringing you unique experiences in a brand new and interactive way with PwCers.

Off-campus activities

In addition to on-campus activities, PwC will host a series of online activities, including our signature event PwC Day. Students will get the opportunity to better understand PwC and interact with our representatives from various teams.

October - November 2021

Candidates who have passed our online assessment will receive an invitation to our PwC Superday between October and November. At PwC Superday, you will participate in a series of business simulation tasks such as group discussions, presentations and interviews with our partners. You will also get a chance to network with our people while waiting for your interview, allowing you to better understand the work and culture here at PwC.

October - December 2021

Congratulations! If you have reached this stage, it means you have been officially invited to join the firm and begin your PwC journey. Offer letters will be sent out to successful candidates during this period.

December 2021

This celebration is a chance for you to celebrate with your fellow future Associate colleagues, build connections with people within the firm and be in the loop on what your life will be like at PwC.

Q2: Are there any restrictions on the degree major?

At PwC, we welcome students from all majors; such as art, history, science and engineering. For our employees, we will arrange online courses and training six months after the offer is issued, to help them acquire basic financial knowledge, theories, and pass qualification examinations. Once you’re fully on board, there will also be two weeks of in-house training.

There will be a full set of classroom learning programmes tailored to your educational background, as well as on the job learning on various projects, which we believe will help you quickly adapt to work and guide you on your journey.

Q4: After the programme ends, what’s the next step?

When you complete the Edge programme and get your professional qualification, you’ll be awarded with the PwC Advanced Certificate in Deals and then have the opportunity to choose to specialise in the area and industry which suits you in Deals.
