At PwC, we recognise outstanding individuals who are motivated to achieve both academically and professionally. Sprinter is an accelerated programme specifically designed for individuals who wish to pursue a masters degree while gaining professional experience at the same time for students studying in China.
From January to March over a period you are completing your masters degree, you will join our Assurance, Tax or Risk Assurance services. You will share the same working experience as our Associates, be deeply involved and learning on challenging client projects. Each year as you return, you will apply the skills you learned from the previous year, then further accumulate new knowledge and capabilities. You can expect that by the time you complete your masters, you would have gained one year of professional experience.
As you will work alongside our Associates, your training and development will be the same as our Associates as well as coaching support. High achievers who meet the performance criteria set will stand a chance to receive an offer as an Associate Year 2 upon completion of the 2-3-year programme. This means, your year-long experience gained will have helped you to accelerate your career at PwC.

Masters Acceleration Programme Associate - Assurance - Shenzhen
I worked at PwC as a Masters Acceleration Programme Year 1 Associate from January to March last year and rejoined the PwC Masters Acceleration Programme again this year. The programme helps me to accumulate working experience when I am a student and can speed my career path development. During helping SICs prepare working papers, I've strengthened my accounting knowledge, improved my communication skills with clients. If you have commitment and enthusiasm to this industry, join Masters Acceleration Programme !
Masters Acceleration Programme Associate - Assurance - Shanghai
I was introduced to PwC's Masters Acceleration Programme through a friend who worked at the Suzhou office of PwC China. I learnt that this programme would provide solid experience because winter time (that's when Masters Acceleration Programme takes place) is the busiest season for Assurance and also heard that if I meet certain criteria, I would be able to secure a full-time employment opportunity before graduation. After joining Masters Acceleration Programme, my workload and work nature is basically the same as a full-time associate, for example drafting simple audit working papers, helping seniors with more difficult ones and providing other assistance. Masters Acceleration Programme enhanced my ability to work in a team, expanded my knowledge of the industry and deepened my understanding of the operations in financial markets.
