Vice Chairman, Asia Pacific and China Assurance Leader, PwC China
Humphrey Choi is PwC’s China Vice Chairman – Business Services, responsible for Assurance, Tax and Advisory Services, as well as Markets and Risk & Quality matters. He is also the Assurance Leader for PwC Asia Pacific and a core member of PwC’s Global Assurance Leadership Team. He is a member of the PwC China Management Board, and a member of the PwC China, Singapore and Taiwan Executive Board.
Humphrey has been with PwC for over 30 years. He joined the firm in 1987 in Glasgow, Scotland and became a chartered accountant in 1990. After three years in Glasgow office, he spent two years in Dubai, UAE and transferred to Hong Kong in 1992. He became a partner in 1997.
Humphrey has many years of audit, advisory and capital markets experience, and has worked with a wide range of international and local clients. He has tremendous experience in helping companies list on the Hong Kong, US and other overseas stock exchanges. Over the years, he has also played key leadership roles in PwC including serving as China Assurance Leader, Hong Kong Markets Leader, China TMT Leader, China Entrepreneurship Private Business (EPB) Leader, a member of the Global EPB Leadership Team and a member of the PwC China’s Board of Partners.
Humphrey is currently the Senior Relationship Partner for a number of top priority accounts in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
