Theresa is a Partner of the Global Mobility Services in the South China region based in Hong Kong. Being passionate about staff development, she is also the People Partner for her group.
Overall, Theresa helps organisations improve their talent mobility programmes to ensure risk and compliance is managed in a cost effective way. She specialises in mobility planning including immigration issues and Hong Kong and US tax matters for assignees working in the region. In addition to overseeing the delivery of regular individual tax compliance services to multinational clients, Theresa also provides advice on compensation structuring, stock based compensation planning and regional tax planning for cross border employees.
Theresa has extensive consulting experience on social security and Mandatory Provident Fund issues. She also advises on the design, implementation and the tax implications of various stock plans for listed companies in Hong Kong and overseas.
Theresa is a Certified Tax Adviser and a fellow member of CPA Australia, The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. She was the President of CPA Australia Greater China Division in 2010. Currently she serves as the Deputy Chair of the Taxation Committee for CPA Australia Greater China Division.
Apart from professional duties, Theresa is involved in a number of charitable organisations. She is a Council Member of the Hong Kong Bone Marrow Foundation and Belilios Old Girls Foundation. She is also a Past President of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour.
