Hopes and fears 2021 Mainland China Report

April 2021

COVID-19 has seriously affected people’s work and life. People have had to be isolated at home or telecommuting for quite a while. During this change, some adapt to change and some don’t. In addition, the epidemic period is highly superimposed with the wave of digitization and intelligence, which further aggravates the complexity and unpredictability of the evolution of this change.

In 2021, PwC commissioned a survey of 32,517 members of the general public in 19 countries to get insights into how professionals think and react. As a result, PwC can estimate the continuing impacts of this complex change on future work and life, to help enterprises develop targeted improvement plans and transformation programs to improve organizational efficiency.
