Cathy Huang

Cathy Huang is the Chief People Officer and a member of the Management Board of PwC China. She overall leads the company's HR strategy, coordinates talent recruitment, development, management and corporate culture shaping, and transforms talent and human resources into the core competitiveness of the company.

Prior to this, she served as the Assurance National People Partner for 5 years until June 2024. Cathy initiated a number of targeted HR solutions to cultivate high performance culture, enhance people engagement and provide wellbeing support to our people.

Cathy commenced her career with the firm in 1994 and was on secondment to PwC Melbourne during 1999 and 2000. She has rich practice experience in both international and Chinese accounting and auditing standards. Cathy became an audit partner in 2007 and served top tier state-owned enterprises and several large global accounts. She was the leader of a major assurance business unit in Beijing during 2017 to 2024, leading 400+ audit professionals.

Cathy was graduated from the Renmin University of China and is a certified Chinese public accountant.
