Vice Chair, Managing Partner, PwC China
Charles Lee is the Vice Chair and the Managing Partner of PwC China, leading the day-to-day operations of the firm and will take a leading role supporting our Tax, Deals and Consulting businesses.
Charles specialises in China tax and business advisory services, has over 30 years’ experience in due diligence review, tax restructuring for listing of PRC enterprises, transfer pricing defense and planning for foreign investors in relation to group reorganisation. He was involved in the negotiation and signing of the first Advance Pricing Agreement in Guangdong. His major clients include listed companies and multi-national enterprises.
Before joining PwC in 1994, Charles worked at the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department. Prior to becoming the Managing Partner, he held leadership roles as the China Tax Leader.
Charles is the fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He is also certified tax agent in Qianhai of China.
