Vice Chair and Managing Partner, PwC China
Charles Lee is the Vice Chair and the Managing Partner of PwC China, leading the day-to-day operations of the firm and overseeing our Tax, Deals and Consulting businesses.
Charles has over 30 years of professional experiences, with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environments, corporate structuring, and market dynamics across the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong SAR.
His extensive background includes serving a diverse client portfolio, specialising in tax and business advisory services. He has extensive experience in guiding clients through the execution of their China and global strategies, advising on their business arrangement, operating structures, and facilitating their digital and tax transformations. His expertise spans across multiple sectors, with a focus on driving strategic growth and fostering strong client relationships.
Before joining PwC in 1994, Charles worked at the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department. Prior to becoming the Managing Partner, Charles served as the China Tax Leader, where he was instrumental in driving the strategy and execution of quality business and people.
Charles is the fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He is also certified tax agent in Qianhai of China.
