Loretta is a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Entrepreneurial Group of the Assurance Division in Hong Kong. Leveraging her strong international background, she has extensive experience in providing accounting, audit and consulting services to public and private companies in the telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and entertainment sectors.
Loretta has assisted a number of companies in completing their initial public offerings in both Hong Kong and the United States. She has also advised on numerous substantial transactions including acquisitions, disposals and privatisation of Hong Kong listed companies and registrants with the Securities & Exchange Commissions ("SEC") of the United States. She is very familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for SEC registrants.
Loretta has led and advised in various merger and acquisition transactions, providing services such as financial due diligence, financial statement and risk analyses, and recommendations on internal control framework and organisation structures. She has delivered public seminars on mergers and acquisitions organised by Hong Kong Economic Times as well as the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Loretta has been serving on the Corporate Finance Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants since January 2012, and assisted in drafting comment letters to consultation papers of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Securities & Futures Commission.
Familiar with the International Financial Reporting Standards and generally accepted accounting principles in the United States, Loretta is a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong (HKICPA), a Certified Public Accountant in the United States (AICPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA, US), a Chartered Accountant (CA, Canada) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is also a non-practising member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) since 1998. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Professional Accountancy) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and her Master degree in Accounting Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
