Mainland China and Hong Kong Deputy Markets Leader, South China Markets Leader, PwC China
Thomas Leung is PwC's Mainland China and Hong Kong Deputy Markets Leader. He is also the firm's China South Markets Leader. He leads all market-facing activities, initiatives and strategies for Mainland China and Hong Kong, including industry and priority accounts programmes, as well as market-centric priorities.
Thomas has over three decades of professional experience in China, giving him a deep knowledge of the country's economy, and a keen appreciation of its domestic business environment and capital markets. His client work has predominantly focused on supporting transformation and initial public offerings (IPOs) for China's state-owned and private enterprises.
Additionally, Thomas oversees PwC's government programmes for Mainland China and Hong Kong, setting the firm’s national strategy and working closely with regional and municipal governments on government projects.
Thomas is a member of the China Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
