Supporting NGOs to embrace digital transformation

The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention (SRACP) in Hong Kong seeks to embrace digital transformation both strategically and operationally. During its IT strategic planning exercise, SRACP recognises the importance of data in facilitating service delivery, monitoring and planning. SRACP has been collecting administrative and operational data with the in-house research team providing analytics support. To strengthen their data governance and analytics capabilities, SRACP engaged PwC's professional support in charting this journey forward.

As part of our pro bono consulting programme, our Data Governance team provides support to SRACP on:

  • Reviewing existing policies and procedures regarding data security, data privacy and data governance; and,
  • Providing recommendations on the overall data architecture and management for building the future analytics platform.

This pro bono consulting project has been a valuable experience for both SRACP and our Data Governance team. We look forward to further collaborations with NGOs that are aspiring to be data savvy.
