Our actions

Gender equality

Shaping a diversified and inclusive corporate culture includes advancing gender quality. Achieving gender equality is all about equal opportunity. At PwC, we understand the vital importance of gender equality in social and economic developments. It is why our PwC community is proud to support the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) of United Nations. We encourage our partners and stakeholders to join us and use the Principles as guidance for actions that we can all take in the workplace, marketplace and community to empower women and benefit our companies and societies.

At PwC China, we have been implementing the “PwC Maternity and Infant Healthcare Programme” since 2018. Through popularisation of professional health knowledge and provision of medical services and specialist appointment services, the programme is aimed at providing caring, professional and reliable healthcare services to all female staff, male staff’s spouse in pregnancy and maternity as well as their children to facilitate work-family balance and self-fulfilment.
