I am Heaven. I joined PwC in 2014 through the graduate programme and I am working in my fourth year in Tax - Transfer Pricing Team.
Develop a new way of thinking
I gain not only expertise and experience from my work at PwC, but also a new mindset which allows me to think and analyse from different perspectives to deliver comprehensive and efficient solutions for win-win results.
Self-improvement and sense of achievement are reasons why I love my job
People often ask me, “Why have you stayed in this professional services firm for four consecutive years, and still demonstrate passion for your work?” The answer is that working at PwC allows me to make continuous improvement on myself, and my contribution is recognised by the team and clients. People often say that we can rarely find a job we love. I guess I am lucky to be fascinated by my job and the people around me. That’s the reason why I am still enthusiastic and committed to the firm.
The only constant is change
At PwC, we demonstrate creativity at work, make continuous improvement and add value to clients with the use of technology. “Be a game changer” has become a buzzword at PwC. We are used to asking ourselves how to reimagine the possible for every engagement. For me, I often look into improving processes and leveraging tools to enhance efficiency.
Never forget why you started, and you can accomplish your mission
I believe that most fresh graduates have one thing in common - aspire for a bright future and a better me. What set you apart might be your life experiences and career goals. Although there are plenty of opportunities in the world and you may not necessarily be settled at PwC till retirement, PwC will for sure give you a head start in your career.
