I am Pinko. I joined PwC in 2016 through the winter internship program. I primarily work on engagements related to real estate and medical health in the assurance practice.
I am very pleased to become a part of PwC, where I have the opportunity to work with amazing and ambitious team members. It is really a joyful experience. I hope for more opportunities to get to know and work with different individuals at PwC.
I am very impressed by the dedication and conscientiousness of PwCers. When facing technical problems in an engagement, we come together for discussions to find concrete solutions regardless of their accountability. With a strong desire for knowledge, we learn from each other and inspire each other. I value highly the openness in our working and learning environment, which allows for active thinking in our everyday work.
What also impresses me is our practice of self-reflection. To ensure everyone is on track to meet tight deadlines of large-scale IPO projects, we are required to report to the team leader on our progress and problems at work on a daily basis for timely feedback and coaching. Working towards clear goals not only enables me to find meaning in my work, but it also provides me with a chance to learn and grow.
Last but not least, people at PwC have a strong sense of collaboration and belonging. We are highly dependent on each other in our projects. We often contribute to others’ work to increase efficiency, and work in teams to solve problems and deliver results.
I would like to share with everyone my favourite quote: Every experience matters and makes you grow.
