April is a tax partner of the China Financial Services Tax Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

April specialises in advising financial institutions on the cross-border investment options well as PRC tax planning, tax compliance and consultation in relation to their PRC operations. April’s experiences in financial service sectors include:

• Analyze the tax implications of emerging financial products in various financial services sectors in China
• Implementation assistance on Business Tax to VAT reform for financial service players
• Advice on the tax efficient holding structure and develop exit strategy
• Assist on application for various tax preferential treatment (e.g. special tax treatment, group restructuring relief, treaty protection relief, etc.)
• Tax Due Diligence service for merger and acquisition transaction in China
• Assistance in discussion with tax authority on tax controversy issues
• Compliance service on Corporate Income Tax and VAT returns
• Tax retainer service in relation to the day-to-day operational tax matters

April obtained her Bachelor and Master of Economy from Fudan University. She is a member of Certified Tax Agent (CTA).
