Disability inclusion is an important part and remains a priority across our global network. In order to build trust and deliver sustained outcomes, in line with The New Equation, we know that we need enhanced levels of diverse talent with different skills and perspectives, enables all of our people to fully participate and thrive equally. PwC firmly believes that diversified talents and an inclusive workplace can not only empower different groups but create more differentiated value as well, and thus can foster the enterprise’s sustainable development.

In recent years, PwC has made many attempts in disability inclusion, dedicated to eliminating barriers for persons with disabilities to participate in social activities.

We are devoted to incorporating disability inclusion into our corporate culture and social responsibility, and strive to build a corporate culture of equality, respect, inclusion and diversity. At PwC, there are also platforms for staff with disabilities from different line of services to give full play to their talents.

PwC and the Valuable 500

In 2020, PwC’s Global Chairman Bob Moritz, and a number of Territory Senior Partners TSPs, became signatories of the Valuable 500, a global movement putting disability on the business leadership agenda. As part of this, PwC made a commitment appointing a Global Disability Leader to drive accelerated and lasting change across the network. In September 2021, Leandro Camilo, Partner and the Inclusion & Diversity Leader, PwC Brazil, was appointed.

Our Strategy

In 2022, we released our Network's first Global Disability Inclusion Strategy, focused on improving the lives of people with disabilities at PwC and those who have caring responsibilities, as well as people in the wider communities in which we work.

PwC Inclusion Art Class - Chinese Painting Foundation

As one of the projects to promote the culture of inclusion and diversity, PwC Inclusion Art Class integrates traditional Chinese arts into the concept of disability inclusion. The major organizers of Chinese Painting Foundation are all from our colleagues with disabilities. Through classic Chinese paintings and basic Chinese painting techniques, we'll enjoy the poetry and charm of Chinese paintings.

PwD Athletes Inclusion

In recent years, with the strong support of PwC, our colleagues of para-athletes have made brilliant achievements in large-scale sport events like Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games at home and abroad.

PwD Employment Base

In 2018, in response to the call of the Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation to "build 100 employment bases", PwC took the lead in establishing our own employment base to create new opportunities for severely persons with disabilities and help them better integrate into society. At the same time, we set a volunteer team, regularly hold activities, and interact with persons with disabilities. We also joined Chaoyang District “Helping Persons with Disabilities” volunteer service team as enterprises representative engaged in providing voluntary services to give back to the society.
