Launch of roadmap for sustainability disclosure and development of sustainability disclosure standards in Hong Kong

The HKSAR Government launched a roadmap for sustainability disclosure in Hong Kong on 10 December 2024.
The roadmap includes the development of Hong Kong Standards, the application of New Climate Requirements, and the expectation of full adoption of Hong Kong Standards by 2028. It also aims to create an ecosystem for sustainability disclosures, focusing on assurance, data and technology, and skills development through various initiatives and collaborations.
